3Tribes 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training in London

Spring 2027 applications are now open.

Train with confidence. Deepen your practice. Learn to teach with clarity.

This training includes a 5-day studio immersion, followed by 6 structured training weekends at our Borough studio.

If you’re a committed student who feels ready to take the next step, this training is designed for you.

What does this training cover?

This training gives you a complete foundation in how yoga works in the body, in the practice and in the way you teach it.

You’ll study philosophy and history to ground your practice, alongside anatomy and physiology so you can teach with real clarity and understanding.

Through detailed asana breakdowns and teaching methods, you’ll build the skills to cue clearly, teach safely and hold a room with confidence.

You’ll be trained in both Hot Hatha and Vinyasa, while developing your own teaching voice and learning what it means to grow into a sustainable teaching path.

The programme is Yoga Alliance recognised, with internationally respected certification on completion.

Who is this training for?

This training is for people who already have a relationship with yoga and feel ready to take the next step with yoga, personally, professionally or both.

You may have been practising for some time and want to understand what you’re doing, not just follow along.

You may feel curious about teaching, even if you’re not yet sure where it could lead.

For many, it comes at a point of change, when you want something more meaningful, more structured or simply more yours.

For others, it’s about confidence; learning how to cue, sequence, use your voice and guide others.

You don’t need to be perfect.

You don’t need to have all the answers.

You just need a consistent practice and a genuine desire to learn.

What’s in it for you?

By the end of the training, you’ll understand asana and sequencing well enough to plan and confidently teach your own classes.

You’ll feel more confident using your voice, holding space and supporting different students in a room.

Alongside the physical practice, you’ll build practical anatomy knowledge and a grounded relationship with yoga philosophy, so that you understand what you’re teaching and why.

Through regular practice teaching and feedback, you’ll gain real experience, not just theory.

For some, this is the start of teaching professionally.

For others, it becomes a deeper personal practice you’ll carry for life.

Both outcomes are valid and both are supported here.

Graduation isn’t the end of our relationship.

For trainees who want to teach, we support ongoing development through continued guidance and opportunities to gain teaching experience through cover where appropriate.

Why choose 3Tribes?

We keep the training intentionally small (12 max), so the experience stays personal, practical and genuinely supportive.

In a smaller group, you’re not just another face in the room, you’re seen, guided and given space for questions.

There’s time for individual feedback and real conversations, the part that’s often missing in larger training.

You won’t disappear into a room of 30 people.

You’ll train alongside a small cohort that supports your progress and holds you to a higher standard.

Who will be teaching you?

Your lead trainer is Janice Wright (Head of Yoga).

As Head of Yoga at 3Tribes, Janice plays an active role in shaping the standard and direction of teaching across the studio. She works closely with teachers already on the schedule and understands what it takes to guide classes in a real studio environment.

Throughout the training, her focus is not only on helping you understand the practice, but on supporting you to grow into a confident, capable teacher who feels prepared to step into that space.

This is a training led by teachers actively teaching, not just teaching about teaching.

What’s next?

One of the biggest challenges after any teacher training is knowing what comes next.

Our focus is on preparing you for the reality of teaching in a working studio environment, not just understanding the theory.

We support your transition from student to teacher with practical experience and ongoing support as you begin teaching.

Many people finish teacher training unsure of what comes next.

Our aim is to make sure you leave with clarity, experience and direction.
